Maintain a Safe Navigational Watch

You will learn how to safely navigate a ship as a Deck Officer. You will learn about the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (ColRegs), navigational watchkeeping at sea, the use of Bridge Equipment, steering and control systems.

You will also learn when the master should be called to the bridge and the principles of handing over the Watch.
